Meet the Women Behind Chickie Collective

We’re a mother-daughter duo, Rhonda Bishop and Chelsea Tallo Little, proud to call Hammond home. Our family has been deeply rooted in this community for three generations, serving as public servants, business owners, and passionate advocates for shopping local.

Rhonda has spent decades as a beloved hairstylist, connecting with the women of Hammond and building relationships that go beyond the salon chair. Chelsea, with years of experience in downtown development, dance instruction, and economic development, has always had a heart for business and community. Together, we combined our passions to create Chickie Collective—a store designed to make shopping local a fun, seamless, and joyful experience for women just like us.

We know firsthand how busy life can be—between kids, careers, and never-ending to-do lists, finding time to shop local isn’t always easy. That’s why we created a space where you can check off your shopping list without the hassle, all while discovering something special along the way.
